Importance of Oral Health Care During Pregnancy
Join this webinar to assess and improve systems-level capacity for integrating oral health care and primary care for pregnant women, infants, children, and adolescents, including those with special health care needs (maternal and child health population).

Objectives:
1. Explain the importance of oral health care during pregnancy and the oral health care needs of pregnant women in Illinois. 
2. Describe the Integrating Oral Health Care and Primary Care Learning Collaborative: A State and Local Partnership project.
3. Demonstrate how the interprofessional oral health clinical core competencies (IOHCCC) can be implemented into prenatal care.
4. Provide examples of various best practices for implementation of the IOHCCC.
5. Discuss the collaborative role of the prenatal and oral health care teams.

Continuing education is made possible through the Community Health Center, Inc. (CHCI) and its Weitzman Institute, the research, education, and policy arm of CHCI. In support of improving patient care, this activity was planned and implemented by the Illinois Primary Health Care Association and Community Health Center, Inc./Weitzman Institute and is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
